Important First Aid Warnings

DO NOT APPLY TO THE NECK, TRUNK, OR HEAD.
Tight compression in these areas can restrict breathing or compromise blood flow to vital organs.

MONITOR CIRCULATION.
Periodically check the area past the wrap (e.g., fingertips or toes) for signs of restricted blood flow, such as coldness, loss of color, numbness, or tingling. If these symptoms occur, loosen the wrap immediately.

DO NOT REMOVE AN INSTALLED WRAP.
If blood begins to seep through the product, do not remove it. Apply additional gauze and manual pressure directly over the top of the existing bandage.

Frequently asked questions

How does the POW Pressure Strip/Wrap help control bleeding?

The POW system features a structural pressure dome designed to deliver targeted, localized compression directly over a wound. This mechanism assists in providing consistent vertical force to the injury site, supporting the body's natural clotting process and helping to manage minor to moderate bleeding.

Do I need any medical training to use it?

No professional training is required. POW products feature an intuitive 3-step “apply & press” system engineered for straightforward deployment by everyday users during first-aid situations at home, work, or outdoors. However, reviewing standard first-aid bleeding guidelines is always recommended.

What types of injuries can this be used for?

POW is designed for temporary external bleeding control of minor to moderate cuts, scrapes, and lacerations on limbs and extremities (such as fingers, hands, arms, and legs). It should never be applied to the neck, head, or torso.

Is it safe and sterile?

Yes. Every single POW unit is individually sterilized and vacuum-sealed in a rugged, protective barrier package to ensure it remains clean, sterile, and ready for immediate first-aid application.

How is this different from a regular adhesive bandage?

Standard bandages merely cover a wound to absorb fluid and prevent contamination. The POW system integrates an elastic wrap and a solid pressure dome, allowing users to easily maintain steady, directed compression over the injury site while preparing to seek professional medical care if necessary.
